Need to Know Information
Please participate responsibly in festival activities! Carlos Creek Winery cares about your safety. The Douglas County Sheriff's Dept. will be onsite to assist. Drinking in the parking lot or on shuttles will not be allowed. Appropriate dress is required. Behavior considered offensive to others will not be tolerated. Carlos Creek Winery reserves the right to refuse the sale of wine to anyone.
PLEASE NOTE: It is against Minnesota Law to serve alcohol to intoxicated persons – even those taking shuttles or with designated drivers.
Admission is $5 on Friday & Saturday and $3 on Sunday.
DRINK TICKETS: Tickets will be sold at 3 kiosks distributed throughout the festival grounds for $4/ticket. Tickets can be used for wine by the glass, bottle and for wine tastings and may be redeemed anywhere BUT our Retail tasting room. Tickets can be redeemed as follows:
- 1 Ticket = Beer by the glass.
- 2 Tickets = Glass of Wine
- 3 Tickets = Wine Tasting
- 4-6 Tickets = Bottle of Wine
Possession of a ticket does not guarantee alcohol service. Underage and intoxicated patrons will be refused service - even if they still have unused drink tickets.
The festival is handicap accessible, and will go on rain or shine! Although all major activities are under cover, please wear sunscreen and/or bring rain gear as appropriate.
If you plan to purchase wine (and we hope you do!) you must be 21 or older. EVERYONE WILL BE CARDED at admissions and given either a "21 or Older" wristband or an "Under 21" wristband. All guests should be prepared with PHOTO ID showing proof of age.
Though minors under the age of 21 will be admitted, this is primarily an adult event, and no specific children’s activities are planned. Parents may want to consider alternative arrangements for child care during the event.
Unfortunately, except for service animals, pets will not be admitted on the festival grounds. Please make alternate arrangements for your pets.
Please don't leave pets in your vehicles!
Carlos Creek Winery is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area by the Man Cave.
ATMS will be located throughout the Festival Grounds for your convenience. None of the outside bars, and most of the vendors will not accept credit cards or checks. If you do not want to use the on-premise ATMs please plan accordingly.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
There will be plenty of fine foods and wine available for sale at the festival. Outside food, alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Coolers & Picnic Baskets will not be permitted on the festival grounds.
